Our SMS program is designed to enhance your educational experience and keep you informed about your courses and account.

Types of Messages You May Receive:

  • Transactional Messages: Account notifications, password resets, login alerts, enrollment confirmations, payment receipts, and security notifications
  • Course Updates: Important announcements about course content, schedule changes, new material releases, and instructor updates
  • Reminders: Upcoming course sessions, assignment deadlines, scheduled live events, and study reminders

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity, preferences, and program participation. You may receive:

  • Total: Up to 10-12 messages per month, though frequency may vary

You Can Stop Messages At Any Time: You have the right to opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time, for any reason. To stop receiving text messages from us, you can use any of the following methods:

Text STOP:

  • Reply with the word "STOP" to any text message you receive from us
  • You will immediately receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed
  • Alternative opt-out keywords: "UNSUBSCRIBE," "CANCEL," "END," or "QUIT"

Update Account Settings:

  • Log into your account on our website
  • Navigate to Account Settings > Notifications > SMS Preferences
  • Uncheck the box for "Receive SMS notifications" or select "Opt out"
  • Save your changes

5.4 Message & Data Rates

MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY: Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier will apply to all SMS messages sent and received. The number of messages you receive will depend on your activity and preferences (see Section 5.1 for frequency details).

Important Cost Information:

  • We do not charge you for receiving text messages from us
  • However, your mobile carrier may charge you for each text message sent and received according to your wireless plan
  • Data usage charges may apply if the messages include links or multimedia content
  • Check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan and rates
  • If you do not have an unlimited texting plan, you may incur charges from your carrier
  • We are not responsible for charges you incur from your mobile carrier for text messaging or data usage

Toll-Free Numbers: If we use a toll-free number to send messages, standard message and data rates still apply based on your carrier's plan.

We and our SMS service providers are not liable for any delays in the receipt of, or failure to deliver, any SMS messages. Message delivery is subject to various factors beyond our control, including:

  • Network congestion or technical issues
  • Your device's compatibility and settings

  • Whether you have sufficient storage or memory to receive messages

Disclaimer of Warranties:

  • Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages
  • We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered in real-time or at all
  • We are not responsible if you do not receive a message due to carrier issues, device issues, or other technical problems
  • Critical account or security notifications should not be relied upon exclusively via SMS

Your Responsibilities:
